ARE THE TICKETS ANY GOOD?
Destination Dublin has a set allocation of seats with each venue. If you would like alternative seats we offer an upgrade option which guarantees you premium tickets.
HOW DO I COLLECT MY TICKETS?
Tickets for the theatre or entertainment packages will be collected from the box office of the venue on the night of the show using your own name. If requested we can arrange for the tickets to be left at your hotel but recommend that they are picked up from the box office. Please bring ID just in case there is any confusion.
WILL THE HOTEL HAVE MY BOOKING?
Yes, all hotels get immediate notification at the time of booking. We are in daily contact with each hotel & venue listed on Destination Dublin. Like any other reservation website you just need to print & present your email confirmation upon arrival at your hotel.
WHAT DO I PAY AT THE TIME OF BOOKING?
We must charge 100% of the value of the package at the time of booking. A charge will appear on your credit card statement from Destdub Ltd. We have to charge 100% at the time of booking as Destination Dublin is required to pay for the Tickets & hotel accommodation within 24 hours. If you are booking a larger group and cannot pay the full amount at the time please contact us on 01 9059001 and we can try to arrange something for you. Any extras must be paid directly to the hotel upon checkout.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?
Any tickets purchased as part of a package are non refundable along with a €15 per person cancellation charge. The tickets can be given away in the event that you cannot make it to the show. If you are unable to attend a show we must receive notice within 48 hours or you will be charged the full price of the package.
DO YOU OFFER TRANSPORT TO THE VENUE FROM THE HOTEL?
Some hotel’s offer shuttle buses between the venue and the hotel for a small fee. This will be highlighted in the hotel description on the site. If you are part of a group of 10 or more we can organise bus transfers for you.
CAN I CHANGE THE NAME ON MY BOOKING?
In the event that you cannot make it to a show and want to change the name on the booking to someone else’s we will require at least 48 hours notice to facilitate this.
IS TRANSPORT INCLUDED?
Any package which includes transfer to and from the venue will clearly state this in the package description. For packages which do not include transport it is up to guest to organise their own transport between the venue and the hotel. Hotel receptions can provide details and prices of transportation. Some hotels do offer shuttle bus service at a small extra cost.
WHERE IS THE DINNER SERVED?
Dinner, where possible, is served in the hotel restaurant, however sometimes it is served in the hotel bar. Destination Dublin cannot guarantee that the dinner will be served in the restaurant. Pre-theatre dinner is usually served between 5pm and 5.30pm.
DO YOU TAKE DEPOSITS ON GROUP BOOKINGS?
Yes we appreciate that somebody organising a group may not wish to pay the entire group cost up front and have to chase everyone afterwards so we offer attractive payment terms for group bookings and even the occasional organiser discount. Please View our Groups page…

DOES DESTINATION DUBLIN SELL TICKETS ON THEIR OWN?
No! We are specifically a packages website and do not offer ticket-only deals. If you are interested in tickets on their own we suggest you purchase via Ticketmaster or any other authorised outlet.
I HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY E-MAIL CONFIRMATION…
If you have successfully completed an online booking and not received your e-mail confirmation first please check your Spam folder first. If you don’t see it there please contact us on 01 – 9059001 and a member of our team can re-send your email confirmation. For telephone bookings there may be a slight delay as your booking is processed manually and quite often our team may have a backlog. You should receive your booking within an hour of your call.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Allow yourself plenty of time to get to the venue. We recommend that you arrive in the hotel before 5pm and allow at least two hours for your meal and transport to the venue. Check the map provided on the site to ascertain the distance of your hotel from the venue.
WHAT IF I’M ARRIVING LATE AT THE HOTEL?
If you are going to arrive late at the hotel please phone the hotel reception to make arrangements for your dinner etc.
THE HOTEL I WANT TO BOOK IS NOT SHOWING AVAILABILITY?
If you are unable to book the hotel requested online phone one of our agents and we will endeavour to get you space in your desired hotel. It may be a simple case of our allocation for that property being used up. Call 01 – 9059001
Please note that when booking a triple room that this room can be laid out in the following manner: where possible a triple room will be three single beds but can be a double and single bed; three single beds or a standard room with a pull out bed. Please state your preference at time of booking as the hotel may allocate the latter if busy.
